FAQ
1. What is a self-tape audition and why is it important?
A self-tape audition is a video recording of an actor performing audition sides, submitted digitally instead of performing in person. Because many casting directors now mainly review auditions this way, a strong self-tape is often your first—and sometimes only—chance to make an impression. Self-tapes are now a common, and often preferred, method of auditioning for film, TV, and even theatre roles. A polished, professional tape helps your performance stand out and keeps the focus where it belongs: on your talent.
